The Powerwall 3 clocks in at 11.5kW continuous power supply, while previously the Powerwall 2 maxed out at 5kW. That’s a 130% increase! This means it can run appliances like lights, TVs, and refrigerators continuously without exceeding the battery’s power limit. With mindful consumption, the Powerwall 3 can extend usage time of your appliances during an outage.

The Powerwall 3 has a load start capability of 185 LRA, 75% higher than the Powerwall 2. This means the battery can handle larger bursts of power when things like the fridge or AC turn on. Wall Connector can provide up to 22 kW / 32 amp output. For Tesla vehicles, Wall Connector provides up to 44 miles of range per hour of charge. For other electric vehicles, refer to your vehicle manufacturer’s guidance to determine your charging speed.
Wall Connector is compatible with most electric vehicles including Tesla vehicles and other electric vehicles. Make sure the Wall Connector you are purchasing has a plug that matches the charging inlet on your electric vehicle.
Wall Connector can adapt to most home electrical systems, with customizable power levels on a range of grid connection and amperage. This versatility allows installation in most homes, apartments, condos and workplaces.
Set up your Wall Connector in the Tesla app and connect it to a local Wi-Fi network to control, schedule and get data on your Wall Connector. Firmware updates will be automatically sent to the Wall Connector to improve the user experience and introduce new features. Installers can complete the commissioning process in the Tesla One app, including selecting circuit breaker settings, configuring power sharing and connecting to Wi-Fi.
The warranty for normal residential use of a Wall Connector covers your Wall Connector for a period of 48 months from the date of invoice. The warranty for normal commercial use of a Wall Connector covers your Wall Connector for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice.
